HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY -- A Tampa man has been sentenced to life in prison for stomping a 2-year-old girl to death.

A judge sentenced 37-year-old Robert James Bradwell on Friday, right after a jury convicted him of first-degree murder in the death of Makaila Thompson.

Bradwell was also found guilty of aggravated child abuse.

Bradwell was the boyfriend of Makaila's mother, who left her two children with Bradwell on September 2008.

Bradwell told doctors Makaila fell while she and her brother were playing in the bathtub.

The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner reported that the girl was hit in the abdomen so hard that it tore the major artery from her heart, causing her to die from internal bleeding.

Authorities say Bradwell waited hours to take the girl to the hospital.

there isn't a point in keeping score, and each of these happened within their own racial communities.

You presented the story fairly, but then used poor grammar/spelling to add a punitive racial slant on a fresh board that really doesn't need it.

I thought I needed to add a little balance, the second story is more brutal, but I guess one doesn't really trump the other in outcomes.

I can't waste anymore time looking for tales from the white trash ghetto, or any ghetto. It's all unfortunate. It will only make me upset to read the links. I don't want to internally racialize a problem that is a human one. Aggression against the weak.

Are whites strong enough to do as the good pastor James David Manning of ATLAH ministries (you know they guy), look inside one's own racial community and call out and chastise the trash amongst our own to strengthen us, not point out the flaws also obviously present in other communities where it does not benefit us either way? It isn't really hatred of one's own race, it is calling a cracker a cracker, not a Ritz or a Townhouse (which are just better).
