‘LAW OF RETURN’ Vs ‘RIGHT OF RETURN’

Tags: ISRAEL PALESTINE
Today is Israeli Independence Day, which will be celebrated with parades and carnivals around the world. But Israeli “independence” in 1948 meant dispossession, exile, or death for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, for whom the founding of the state of Israel was a personal and collective catastrophe, or Nakba.

As US Jews, we have an automatic right to Israeli citizenship under Israel’s “Law of Return,” while many Palestinians have not been able to return home in over 60 years. It is not right that we may “return” to a state that is not ours while Palestinians are excluded and continuously dispossessed.

It's called "right of conquest."

Even now those who are BORN THERE need a permit to live there.....for hundred of years all that was needed to prove that a house or the land was yours was to produce the keys to the house.

Now the Zionist wants the Palestinian people to produce a "deed" and the permit for the house........ can't wait for the Zionists to pay for all the suffering and wrong doing that they have done to the Palestinian people, to the US and to the world in general.
