Our brooding hen has 4 new chicks today
This is the only picture I have been able to get so far
I will take more soon.
Its really neat to watch a mother hen and her chicks :)

yeah, there is four of them under there.

When I went to grab the camera, two of them had their heads out.

Well, she is being a really protective mother hen. So its hard for me to get pictures so far
When she see's me she calls to them and trys to keep me from seeing them. :)

I can't get over how cool it is the way she talks to them...and they listen :D

Oh, the chicks are so adorable. The hen is beautiful. Great pics. It must be so enjoyable to be able to raise animals... or birds on your property.

Yeah we like it.
We like birds
We used to breed cockatiels and love birds but it got out of hand(too many... not enough buyers)
We traded 30 teils and 5 lovebirds for two Conure parrots....lol

We still raise and sell Canaries and Button quail though.

I'll get pics up of those soon ;D

Wow, you two are really into birds! I prefer mine outside at the birdfeeder. A parrot would be fun but it would scare the stuffing out of our Piggy the scaredy cat.

Nother update

bout got all their feathers almost ready to join the population and make room for more chicks that are on the way.. (3 hens brooding right now)
