A RUSSIAN-born hacker is attempting to sell Facebook IDs for as little as $25 per 100 usernames, social-media blog Mashable reports, citing researchers at VeriSigns iDefense.
The hacker, who calls himself Kirllos, has obtained 1.5 million Facebook IDs, or one for every 300 people who use the social networking website.
He’s charging $25 per 100 IDs for users with fewer than 10 friends and $45 per 1000 IDs for users with more than 10 friends. Approximately 700,000 accounts have already been sold.
