1. If you have 5 minutes or less

2. If you have 5 - 10 minutes

3. If you have 15- 30 minutes

My list/priorities would certainly be a bit different, but I thought it was worth starting a discussion with the above ideas. Also, it would obviously depend on the situation: leaving a house fire, awaiting a tornado, evuacuating the neighborhood, etc.

I notice there is no mention of pets.

Please share your thoughts or other lists! TIA.

Great thread MNeagle. Keeping an emergency "panic buy" list for last-minute items with some $20 bills handy can save critical time when everyone else is running around Wal-Mart confused with debit cards just before the looters arrive wtshtf.

I think #1 on my panic buy list would be to get the vehicles topped off w/ gas (though they're rarely below 1/2 tank).

Good point about the BOB. We have to prepare some new ones, now that the kids are older, the contents need to be altered.

and what if you're away from the house when TSHTF ?
