Thanks for your post. Been fascinated with volcanoes since I was a kid. Formerly lived in a city that had a dormant one in one section of the town. In fact it was a park. They said it wasn't extinct, just dormant. I always got the creeps whenever I took the family up there for 4th July fireworks. We don't do that anymore, thank goodness. Moved away from that town altogether in fact.
