The Question of the week is, do you support the Long Gun registry?

http://www.ctv.ca/qp/

It's just a media poll, but it's mainstream and will be acknowledged after the final results are tallied.

They are talking about ditching the program, which would be nice.

According to the results so far it's a landslide against it.

I had a Canadian customer in my store not long ago bitchin' about that law, I hope they get it repealed.

The real problem now is that Ignateiff cocksucker that doesn't want the MPs to have a free vote on this. The bill to abolish this would certainly pass if the Liberal MPs were allowed to vote as they wished, but he wants them to all vote against it.

Yeah, he is threatening his cabinet with some kind of bullshit repercussions if they don't tow the line.

The people and the BBG controlled Conservatives are against it, and the BBG Controlled Liberals are "for it", kind of.

It's a total waste of money and resources, and it doesn't have any reducing effect on gun crime by gangstaz, etc. I just finished reading a fantastic article in Handguns Magazine, in which they document the fact that gun control essentially contributes 0 (Zero) change in gun related violence.

Of course they explain it in detial with eloquence. Look for an online version.

In this months Guns & Ammo Handguns magazine, entitled "Abandon Ship: Some criminologists sound a retreat on gun control", written by Don B. Kates.
