Officials in the Obama administration are urging the extraordinary step of suing Arizona over its new immigration law, and the Justice Department is considering such an action to block the legislation from taking effect, government officials said Wednesday.
The Arizona law criminalizes illegal immigration by defining it as trespassing and empowers police to question anyone they have a "reasonable suspicion" is an illegal immigrant. President Obama and Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. have blasted the legislation, with Obama saying that it "threatened to undermine basic notions of fairness."

I thought that the Arizona law was a mirror image of the Federal Law? I think they're just running their mouths, but they'll be powerless to stop it. GO ARIZONA.

Villaraigosa backs L.A. boycott of Arizona over immigration crackdown
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said Thursday that he supports a boycott of Arizona by the city of Los Angeles, and he called that state's newly passed immigration law "unpatriotic and unconstitutional."
"No person should be treated differently in the eyes of the law," he said at a news conference.

Seeking the best way to boycott Arizona over immigration law

The question isn't whether to start an economic boycott to pressure Arizona to repeal its new immigration law. For me, that's a given.
The question is which products and services to blacklist to get results fastest, while minimizing needless harm.
Proposals abound already. Conventions. Tourism. Lettuce (a major Arizona product).

AZ should sue the feds for failing to protect the borders there. Now AZ has to do it at their expense. Hope they send the feds the bill at least.
