I wanted to see if I could get a roll or two of silver at a nice price.
Went to the first table to see what he had and he pointed me to an older fellow at another table. The old fellow had a box stacked full of various rolls. I asked him if he had any mercury dimes and he sure did.

I ended up buying two rolls (100 dimes) of Merc dimes for $65 a roll and two rolls (80 quarters) of Washington quarters for $130 a roll. Total $390.
When I opened the quarter rolls, I found a handful of them were in uncirculated BU condition.

I didn't spend much time there as it was mostly numismatic stuff and I was more interested in the bullion coins. I did notice some 1/10 oz GAEs priced at $138.

The coin show continues tomorrow also. 10am - 4pm.

they say each $10 face has 7.15 ounces of silver in it.
'
so you got 21.45 ounces of silver (at least) for $390 - $18.18 an ounce.

sounds like a good deal and a good investment ! 8)

I wish I had been able to buy a little more.
For anyone who might be in the area, the coin show is free and there are about 20 tables... mostly collectible coins.
If you are looking for junk silver at a good price, you can find a nice selection there at one of the tables.
