I live in Tennessee and this is not very good at all. It is not doing anything yet but this severe weather is supposed to come in later tonight where I am located in TN and it will continue into Sunday. The main concern will be Sunday evening into Monday morning since that might be the worst time according to the local weather report.

It reminds me of Okinawa. It rains hard...then it rains regular...then it stops 5 minutes...then it rains hard...then the sun pops out a second...then it rains some more... I thought I was being clever by waiting to plant my garden, but this is getting out of hand.

I will try to be safe. Thanks for posting that MNeagle. I talked to my parents last yesterday and it was raining very hard where they lived. My dad was watching CNN and told me about the flooding in the Nashville area. I thought that it was going to rain last night and into the overnight hours but I got up this morning and went outside and it did not rain yet. I live about 3 hours from Nashville but I believe that I am going to get rain from this same system today based on the weather report that I heard yesterday.

As I mentioned Sunday evening into Monday morning will be the biggest problem. Monday morning might be a messy commute to work. There are certain areas in my city where it easily will get flooded if it rains nonstop for several hours. I will just have to see what happens. It is currently 76 outside right now as of 5:48 AM. Just like a typical morning in July.
