From the article..............The police department will be working to identify and prosecute additional individuals involved in the march and subsequent violence
=================================
And I say.........then what? multiply that times 2 or3 thousands in Cali alone and then more for the rest of the county.

Gee, I wonder why the MSM didn't pick this up?
Sounds like to me the protesters were terrorizing local businesses?
As in "TERRORIST!
Yet they call it simple vandalizm?
If they were Tea partiers, we'd have video and photos.

SANTA CRUZ - A large group of protesters demonstrating at a May Day rally for worker's and immigrant rights downtown broke off into a riot vandalizing about a dozen businesses around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Many in the group were carrying makeshift torches as they marched, breaking storefront windows and writing "anarchist graffiti" on buildings, according to Capt. Steve Clark. Many businesses sustained multiple broken windows including very large storefront windows at Urban Outfitters and The Rittenhouse building. Police believe at least 15 businesses suffered damage

such sounds like a bunch of high school kids blowing off steam AND breaking the law, breaking stuff. i'm not saying they deserve a Club Med Vacation detention experience, just saying it's very minor in the grand scheme of things.

from the sound of it, no person was assaulted.

this is not a big deal. i don't think it could even be accurately be called a riot. LA 1992, now there's a riot.

this incident resulted in carpentry repair work, not doctor repair work.

compared to the $Trillion crimes that are committed on Wall Street ?

as long as the business owners are insured, in a way, it creates work for carpenters - and the Banksters (insurance companies) pay for it. that almost sounds like an Obama job creation scheme. 8)

i know the woman that used to manage that Jamba Juice store that had its windows bashed. now she manages the Jamba in my town. it was fun comparing notes with her about the Santa Cruz druggie culture. a bunch of the WestSiders Mavericks surfers "came out" about drug (meth) use the last few years ... what i heard on Surfline
http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/behind-the-scenes-the-westsiders-the-birth-of-santa-cruzs-air-brigade_42329/

pretty much coincides with her perception. she used to have the drugged out surfers come into her store for Smoothies.

Yay, multi-culturalism and diversity! Ah this reminds me of the tea party riots and violence. ::)
