New York police have security camera footage of a man leaving the scene of the attempted car bombing in New York's Time Square.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said investigators were "examining video that shows a white male in his 40s" approximately half a block from where the bomb-laden Nissan was parked.
The man was "also seen shedding a dark coloured shirt revealing a red one underneath," he said.
