starts in june.
I'm wondering what will happen when a Hurricane passes over all that oil
Will it suck it up and rain oil?
I haven't found any thing about that on the web yet.

Good question. Lets hope not. I can see it now, all our crops in the south getting rained on by oil. Actually not just the south. Usually these patterns go all the way to new England once they start.

It doesn't rain saltwater. So, for the most part, I'd say no.
Most of the moisture is sucked up via evaporation. So it depends on how well oil gets vaporized and sent airborne due to wind action. Oil and water don't mix so one would think it would be dispersed relatively locally -maybe a few hundred miles. Unless, of course it gets sucked up into the outflow pattern. then...
The big thing though could be turning a coastline event into something much bigger by waves, tides & surges sloshing the muck miles and miles inland.
