As much as I disagree with Griffin's collectivist views, he's pretty much correct about Afghanistan.

It was absolutely painful listening to the parts in which he described how British soldiers were being sacrificed at the expense of the neocons and war profiteers and those affected by the war. :-[

Kind of hard not be a "collectivist" in a nation of 60+ million that is the size of Oregon. I guess war is justified in some scenarios, but I totally agree that leaders should have to understand very deeply what pain they are causing for the nation before they declare (or pusillanimously don't declare war in our congress's case) a war.
