I think his chances of victory are slim but I still wish him the best of luck.

I'd sooner support Traficant than Ron or Rand Paul. At least we know for sure Traficant is the real thing, not an insider or controlled opposition.

If he decides to run, he will have no shortage of campaign funds. Nothing would come of it of course but the noise would sure be embarassing to TPTB.

It'll be a very uphill battle.

One major disadvantage is that he is running as an independent.

His past convictions and imprisonment will be another major disadvantage to his campaign.

In addition, the district which he wants to represent is quite leftist considering that it contains Kent State University.

I know he represented the district before but the times have probably changed and made his chances more difficult.

But still, I do wish him the best of luck even though his chances will be quite slim.

Jim has been a friend for a long time. His word is good, and you ALWAYS know where you stand with him.

Most of the people in his district feel the same way.

He may not get anywhere with his election attempt, but it will be because the "other side" is afraid of him speaking truth. He will get beat up on, but he can take it.

I've followed Traficant from the git go just as I have RP. I'm very close to the Traficant situation and he IS the real deal! He has my full support and some of my meager frn's.
