Super mega yacht (and submarines) construction (and pretty much anything else which serves the plutocracy)
the weapons industry, i.e. bombs, missiles, naval vessels for projecting force, aircraft spare parts and support, etc., etc. (for the MIC, not for the folks, as in not small arms)
the political sector (lobbyists, high end prostitutes, every sort of thing which supports this sector)
the infotainment sector
advertising (businesses trying to drum up customers when no one has any money to spend)

Pawn Shops, Payday Loans, Auto Title Loans, Check cashing services.

The staple of the Ghetto.

I see more and more legitimate businesses go out of business, and then the space gets turned into a Payday loan outfit.

They're usually right next to a liquor store, and a Cricket mobile I might add.

Sorry Ponce, I had to cross one out. There is no money in that business and it's almost all owned by a few large corporations that aren't very nice.

The other side of the dis-ease industry, the wellness side, grew 9% last year. My wife and I are Wellness Consultants with a home-based business and people are waking up to aspects of big medicine, medical insurance woes and looking to be more pro-active in their own wellness.

Well Mr.Zusn.......when something cost only $700 and they sell it for at least $5,000 and you have three death per day in my small area that's a nice profit for someone.......and then you have the burrial or cremation and the car ride and the flowers and maintenance and so on.

Almost forgot.........who ever makes toilet paper, sells very well every day ;D

You're very correct about the cost and markup. The unfortunate part is all of that profit goes to the corporation. The funeral director I worked for is quitting after 25 years. Another corporation bought out the corporation that owned the place he was running. They have very strict and crappy rules. They also have an aggressive "sales" schedule. He's moving away and getting involved with his father-in-law's business. It's a very unstable business sector to work in these days. It's rare to find a family owned place.

Bankruptcy Attys.

Attorneys in general.

there are a lot of big messes in our society and our society will go through the motions of litigating a lot of them, even if it's a waste of resources.
