Common knowledge that the IDF soldiers got their asses kicked by Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon in 2006 and crawled back to their "Israel" crying like babies. Israel government admitted as much and fired a bunch of military leaders over that international embarrassment.

There is this one military blog I read(no it isn't part of the panzer patrol) and they regularly refer to the IDF soldiers as Gucci Soldiers.
So the IDF might not be super sissies, but it does appear they are somewhat soft to say the least.
