i listened to the whole thing. my observations:

the tier one guard sounded like an asshole, i agree.

then, when they take him in, the second american guy sounded very reasonable to me. the canadian guy at that point started being a COMPLETE dick.

i mean, come on, you're crossing the border, answering 4 or 5 questions isn't completely out of line. the canadian guy is even bitching at his wife at the end. :oo-->

i'm siding with the border guards on this one. the canadian guy COMPLETELY instigated them. every LEO in the world isn't on some power trip. i've been crossing the canadian border 4 or 5 times a year for 20 years, and answering 4 or 5 questions isn't anything new.

you reap what you sow, that was pretty stupid of him. Sure the Feds are asshats but even so you need to use at least a little common sense which was clearly missing there. He pretty much asked for everything ahead of time.

I cant believe you are siding with the a$$holes! Those people were being abused by the first so called officer in my opinion. If we keep letting these actions go unabated we soon will all be affected by this arrogance that you must comply for what ever reason we make up!

I go with the citizens as the questions were a bit ridiculous IMHO. So what do they think that a terrorist will tell them they are going to the AG store to pick up a few hundred pounds of nitrate fertiliser? Its all about control...

Our Constitution is supposed to protect us from those that serve us... but their boldness is growing. Cops shooting caged dogs pregnant woman and kids being tazed...
