I like the DOG's start so far. Maybe the DOG will have enough stamina to make it past 10 AM and for the rest of the day today. The Yellow Metal Barbarian might break 1226 today. We will have to see what happens today.

$1225 is my sell point.
If Gold hits $1225, I will sell paper gold for paper fiat.

THe only thing I can figure is it has to do with the announcement yesterday of Civil and criminal investigations of JPM for silver manipulation. This may be the end of the silver market as we've known it.... :oo-->

Hopefully the manipulation is nearing its' death-throes.

You have 777 posts, Josey, at the time that I typed this reply.

Back on track, I am hoping for $20 silver too. Then $50. Then $350.

As much as I want to see the dog price go orbit some distant star I don't because it will mean that I can never afford to buy any more of the shiny. The dealer I will still visit to shoot the defecation and talk about current events etc, but my hands won't be selling any metal for any price in fiat even if/when it goes over 1k for a single silver round.

PM's = freedom from banksters.

I won't sell my physical either. But I have about 5% of my PM investments in a Paper pool accoun that I trade with.

If I dump it at 1225, I will have netted a 12+% increase in fiat. We'll see if it goes up there or not....

Awoke? glad that you have awaken "If you don't ........la la la"..........also, when the ratio is back to, at least, 18/1 then trade part of your silver for gold.

Good time to buy silver is when is DOWN and not going up........now you are chasing the train.........but..........better late than never ;D

It is notable that on the day gold breaks free there is no mentioning of gold neither on bloomberg no on yahoo finance

Mick? and do what? buy some junk from China?

Unless it is to pay off your house or buy some food it would then be a waste of good silver.

I would really like to sell a small pile of physical to pay for some education.
I would rather pay fiat than let it go for less than $20ozt, however.
It's for sale in our Member Trading forum.
The question is, is anyone actually buying or is the number just a few pixels on a screen?
I suspect the latter.

I will not begin to think of selling before $35.

Though I do have a couple GIM rounds I could unload... :P

$100ea. sound about right?

I should be returning to the states in approximately 6 months post fleshing, until then they are deposited safely behind Costa Rican razor wire. 8)

I would not be very surprised to see someone sell GIM rounds on ebay for 4X-5X spot silver price.

i don't know. i think there is actually real demand for physical silver. people are buying.

plus Europe making a commitment to spend $1 Trillion to bail out Greece etc. for another few years does inject some more fiat money into the system.

i guess one way to see if people are buying is to watch shortages at APMex. people sure as heck are buying gold fractionals. they're out of stock on 1/10's, 1/4's, and 1/2's.

i do wonder when the speculators that drive the silver & gold prices down are going to start making $ driving the price up.

Haha! No, it wasn't! I actually was patient enough to wait, and sold off just on that climb a little after 3pm.

So many times I wait and wait, and then it drops and I've missed my window of opportunity. Today, I thought "1225", and when it crossed, I moved.

It can suck if you're a little premature, but not as bad as when it drops because you waited too long!

$1250 silver? I do not know about that. I think that silver will eventually hit $1250/oz but not in my lifetime (I am currently 36 yrs old).
