Northern Indiana 1.49 per gallon cash price 1.69 if on credit and 1.74 if I did'nt own my tank (which I do), I got it last year at this time for 1.07 a gal cash price. I said to the guy DAMN MAN!!! and was a bit shocked that it had'nt done it's normal spring price drop, his reply was that the gulf fiasco was really screwing things up for everyone and left it at that. Everyone here who uses LP/natural gas for heating may want to consider topping off your tanks now as the mess is only gonna get worse and gas more expensive imo.

I just got a letter for a pre-buy for this year at 2.09 per gallon. What do think, good deal or not?

OUCH!!! Ask if there is a cash discount, that saved me 20 cents a gallon and to get that I had to fill one of my empty tanks to 80% which is considered full (400 gallons). Gonna cost me close to 1,400 dollars to heat my home next winter.........

Get a wood burner they help big time as long as the wood is dry and inexpensive.

$3.69/gal for the 400gallon discount a month ago(insert puke icon). I wish I could pay less than two bucks. Last year I bought 1200 gallons. I burn a lot of wood now.

Heating oil for 3 years and wood for life........I like my Toyo heating oil better and it burns only 1/2 a gallon per day 365 days a year or 182 gallons.........my solar heat box saves me a lot of heating oil.
