Just heard on the news that they now believe 70,000 barrels a day is gushing out of the broken pipe.
The equivalent of an Exon Valdez every four days.
Grim is an understatement.

We need free energy devices more than ever before to get away from this petroleum crap. What are the odds that big goobermint will release the info on how to construct them? 0? Dammit, back to the drawing board..............
The gulf is screwed......

70,000barrels x 42gal/ barrel = 2,940,000 gal a day.
I think I read Valdez was 11.3 million gallons.
I think this number may still be low.

I also heard on the news that they are not close to stopping the oil leak. I heard this somewhere but I think the latest attempt at stopping the leak was delayed because of something about another company wanting a financial cap put on the $ amount of damages that this company is liable for. I cannot remember the name of this company.

Free energy is great n all, but unfortunately our entire fleet of everything is mostly petroleum dependent. It can't be done with a flick of a switch.

I don't believe that many people really knows what will come from all this........and it will be really, really bad.
Believe it or not.........the best thing that could happen is either a super war or a super bug but in order to get rid of FIVE BILLION peoples, only that will save the rest ........and the world.
Little by little the coats and ties with brains will realise the truth of the matter and then little by little (as to not scared us) they will tell us the truth of the matter.
Think of Krakatoa or Vesuvius when looking at this disaster.

Ken, this is on top of the doom and gloom.........when it comes to the economy and war we do have a chance to do something about it if we really want.......but there is no way in hell to do anything about this oil thing.

Come on, we all knew this was a frog in the pot regarding the grim details.
By the end of this month, the pot will be boiling over with a bunch of cooked frogs.

Ponce: I had a night mare last night, I dreamt that the pollution from the Gulf killed many Billions of people from an artificially created famine. I was afraid to go back to sleep, when I abruptly woke up.

Interesting story here..

But there's never been an oil spill this big and this deep before. Nor have authorities ever used chemical dispersants so widely.
As a result, some scientists suspect that a lot, if not most, of the oil is lurking below the surface rather than on it, in a gigantic underwater plume the size and trajectory of which remain largely a mystery.

That is a real sickening thought! :'(

The finally said it, is worse at the bottom than at the top........the oil sticks itself to sea weeds and rocks, who will be going down there to clean all that up??????
By the way, when I say "hell if I know how I know it".....is like when I used to solved math problems without knowing how I did it.......I simply gave the correct answer and that was that, it used to drive the teacher crazy hahahahahahha.

They will never tell us the amount of damage this has caused, and worsening, our environment. Those that try, will be flushed out.
Irreparable damage, will takes 100's of years to recover.

From the new video released of the leak, look's as if it will fill a barrel in about 1 second.
So 70,000 is pretty damn close.
