May 17 (Bloomberg) -- The foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Brazil agreed on a formula for a swap of low enriched uranium for nuclear fuel that could ease diplomatic tensions over Iran’s nuclear program, Turkish state-run Anatolia news agency said.

The accord was reached in Iran’s capital Tehran after 18 hours of talks, Anatolia reported without saying where it got the information. Burak Ozugergin, spokesman for Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, didn’t immediately answer calls to his mobile phone seeking comment.

The plan will be presented to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the agency said. The three leaders are expected to make a statement on the details of the talks later today, it said.
