Really well done video, striped bear!

Two questions for you:

1 - What software did you use for the text-to-speech narration? Sounds better than most of them I've heard.

2 - What piece did you use for the soundtrack? Pretty compelling and ominous sounding - I think I'd like to add it to my music library!

Thanks!

Thank you Gaillo.

I used AT&Ts labs natural voice online tool: http://www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php

The track is Gridlock by John Digweed and Nick Muir (Stereo club mix).

And in case anyone else wonders, I used Apple's iMovie '09 to edit the video.

Arguably, the greatest environmental disaster in history (to date) is the Iraqi War (intentional) Oil Spill - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_War_oil_spill

BP and FEDGOV INC are intentionally misleading everyone as to the extent of this gusher, so we may never really know even an accurate estimate of the total amount of oil released from the BP Gulf gusher.

Yes I know the gulf war oil spill is technically larger right now, as far as we know.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oil_spills

Gulf war oil spill: min: 780,000 max: 1,500,000 (in tons)

Deepwater Horizon: min: 19,000 max: 300,000 (tons, so far)

At 70,000 barrels a day, by time they drill the relief well in 3 months, the maximum total tonnage released will be approximately 1,159,481 tons.

But yes it's hard to equate what is the "worst environmental disaster in history". I probably should not have phrased it like that. I might edit it.

Perhaps rephrased as "What could end up being the worst environmental disaster in history"?

Wow, good job. Lower the music when Hayward is speaking so we can understand/hear him.

That's some decent software, even has a Spanish voice.

Combine that with Google translate, and I could plug it into my neck.

Thanks.
