I just switched to Tracfone from Sprint should save $406.00 over the next year. Was paying sprint $45.00 mo., using approx 800 min year on Sprints $40.00 mo. plan.

Bought tracfone and set it up today.
Phone, accessories, tax. $33.00
Double minutes. $100.00

I have 1050 minutes for use over 425 days.

Total cost: $133.00

Because I don't get a cell phone signal here at home I had a Tracfone for emergency use for when I went out..........after one year I only used 30 minutes and that was to call the card club to tell them to put my name up on the board for those waiting for a chair.........

That's what I use now too. It works fine and is much cheaper. The phone lasted about a year and I just ordered a new one.

sunshine? you don't have to order a new phone but only more minutes.....you can keep the same phone.

I think he just upgraded his worn phone.. I absolutely love mine... it's a Samsung slider.. and it is carried on the Verizon network (through tracfone) so I am getting a great signal... Everyone needs to evaluate their cell phone costs... there are some great deals out there.
