Proves that money certainly can't buy a sense of style.

I mean come on, gold AKs and pistols!? That's the best they could come up with!? Ain't that original. ::)

Seen them before but they’re always worth a repost. I loved the house with its artwork and carvings in addition to the personal big cat zoo. Not to mention the playboy mansion inspired hot tub cave.

As for the guns the gold/silver/platinum/ diamond plated/studded items where OTT. Some of my favorite pieces were:

The last simply because of the grenade launcher and the P90s.

PS As for that pile of 22 million dollars? You can bet your bottom dollar that disappeared into some politicians/law enforcement officers bank accounts.

And just think, they could end it all by legalizing drugs. The drug empires would collapse.

Sorry illimun19, don't mean to to upset your fine collection of smites vs. applaud, but I've got to applaud you for posting this. It makes one think just how many of these places there are in the world.

In the past, I've heard that there are organized crime individuals/groups with WAREHOUSES full of $100 bills. While this isn't a warehouse full, the photos certainly give the impression that FRNs are the gold standard of world currencies.

Thanks again for the post.

I wonder how many "officials" spent a little alone time in those rooms full of cash before they counted it all. There was certainly enough to go around, wasn't there?

I really liked the pictures of the embellished guns. It's fascinating the detail that went into some of those pieces. They are truly works of art.

On the other hand, the amount of money stacked is beyond what my brain can fathom.

Money? I didn't see that much gold... The plating on the weapons couldn't be that much.

Oh, I guess you meant the stacks debt-notes!

;D

You got me! I should have said FRNs. :-\

I stand corrected.

Try to imagine the 2 trillion dollars that our government will spend this year that they don't have!

It looks like he cut the payoffs to his government masters.

Gold plated AKs-- A clear sign of a punk. I love AKs, but gaudying up an AK follows the same instincts of a street punk getting a junker car and spending 5 times as much money on speakers, hubcaps and other garbage.

I hear ya, but if someone were handing them out for free, I'd still take one.

On second thought, a lot of us have the motto, "Gold and Guns" as if they are 2 separate things. These guys combine the 2. Maybe they're on to something...

(I'm not saying I'm going to buy some GAEs to melt down anytime soon.) ;D
