A potential exists for any one or all of those scenarios to occur; however, food and water shortages are most likely, IMO.

Just to add something, that chart should be up near 7 billion now. That's the thing with exponential growth... the 1 decade between then and now would barely register on the chart, but the 1 billion difference between 6 and 7 is huge.

G2Rad you would have been far more responsible if you didn't have any children, dropped depleted uranium in the middle east.

Just make sure that your child gets whatever it needs to be able to grow up to a healthy, strong, responsible and independent man/woman, regardless of what the authorities think is good for your family...

This chart is also one of the reasons that land will be my next large investment. I doesn't even have to be agricultural. Some people can't live in the clusterfuck cities and they'll want 20 acres or so to get away to. If you have some forest even 5 acres can be enough for a feeling of privacy.
