Personally I thought the world was strange enough but this is icing on the cake.
I just got an email from SFGrow, which is the group in San Francisco that coordinates their 100 or so community gardens.
Looks like Bank of America is doing their civic duty. They want their managers & executives to get out there and http://volunteer.
Gee, I wonder if there will be a photographer present or if it will get in the SF newspaper ?
Got to polish up that corporate image. Going Green.

I hope everyone is doing well and that your community gardens are thriving with
all the rain!
SEEKING 3-5 Community Gardens in Need of Volunteers!!! MUST Reply Today before
6pm!!!
SFGRO was just contacted by Bank of America and they are seeking to confirm (on
the fly) community projects for 30 of their managers and executives on Wed.,
June 2nd 3-5pm. Their civic engagement coordinator must confirm projects TODAY
so if your community garden needs volunteers for specific projects (building
plots, compost bins, etc., installing fences, spreading mulch, pruning, etc.)
AND you are able to coordinate/oversee up to 5 volunteers at your garden on the
day of, please contact me IMMEDIATELY by phone at 415-235-4292 to sign up!
