View Full Version : The Ecstasy of Gold -- Music for fondling your PM stash

Post your tunes.
My nomination is Ennio Morricone's The Ecstasy of Gold. Although it touches on the meledramatic, it's tempered by the large serenity of the movie The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and the overall toughness of the Characters.

Hers's Metallica's version-- not as haunting or timeless, but modern.

I do not have any particular song that I listen to when I am looking at and fondling a silver art bar but I listen to some random songs in my Itunes music library and that can be almost any song.

This thread is a perfect excuse to post the infamously cheesy Krugerrands video.

This is close to the version I like best (outside of the movie.) It has decent sound quality. And, the way it's filmed lets you match up what you are hearing with the instruments.

This rocks! Metallica's version is still better though. Thanks to this I'm gonna buy myself a guitar.

The first time I heard this song I fell in love with it. It's such a great classic song from a master vocalist!

A warm welcome to the forum, kortney.
Excuse some of my fellow posters if they are somehow rude, they've been waiting for precious metals to become precious most their lives.
