At Walt Mart in the frigs lood of box that looks like a chinese take out food box, the name is TAI PEI.......I just bought two of them at two dollars each and it contains a full meal of "Sweet & Sour Chicken".

A meal like this would cost you at least $7.00 in a restaurant and is REALLY, REALLY GOOD.

Eat one yesterday and one in the micro right now.....micro for 5 minutes.

No such thing as cheap food. There's only good food that will nourish and sustain your body in a healthy manner and crap. If a place like Wal Mart can make a profit on selling a meal for $2, they are selling you crap. You'd be better off stir frying your TP stash, it'd be healthier.

Eating $2.00 microwaved shit out of the frozen section at Wally World will kill you.

This is not prepping... unless your looking to fill an underground box with your dead self.

The poor are expendable - they're why Wally World exists. It doesn't matter what they sell them... they're too poor to sue even if they were smart enough to figure it out.

You should not shop there unless desperate... and probably not even then.

I'll agree with the other posters here. What you're getting for $2 at Walmart is the "poo-poo buffet".

...and I guess each of you has read the label and know this to be a fact? Wall mart has tremendous buying power and can negotiate huge deals with food companies from around the world.

While I am not saying the frozen chinese food is the best grade but I have eaten the very brand and the same sweet and sour chicken. I did not read the ingredients or the nutritional values. It was OK.. but lacked real flavor like most frozen food does. It probably is high in sodium.

There are worse things that are offered for food IMHO

So you really don't know if it's loaded with MSG (or MSG disguised as something else) or other harmful food chemicals, right?

If it's processed food found in your 'mainstream' grocery stores, then it's loaded with some nasty food chemicals, it's just the nature of the beast.

Actually Chi-com produced MSG is pretty damn cheap (incredibly so in fact), and a very cheap 'quick fix' for bland processed 'food'.

Yup, down with the heathen bastards at Walmart.

I'd check the ingredients of that chinese chicken.. It may say chicken 'stuff', which may be processed cat.

Good luck.

Do you have any data to support the belief that radio frequency agitation of molecules, by radiation*, is inherently unhealthy?
While infrared agitation of molecules, by conduction or convection is healthy?

*Radiation is used in the sense of how the energy moved.

Walmart does have very low prices on some foods. Their butter and bacon is cheaper (and better tasting) than Costco, which is something.

The article does not provide any proof that cooked food by microwave is dramatically inferior to cooked food by other means. There is much speculation and conjecture, without any hard facts in support.

Several claims, such as "Russia banned microwaves" (when it was the USSR), is more hyperbole that scientific proof. And no, Russia does not ban microwave ovens today.

No, not handy but I'll give you a BETTER reason than what you might think. The food tastes like crap that come out of a microwave. Good enough reason for me :)
