I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. I do not currently live there but I will one day return to Tennessee if not Nashville, itself. That said, my closest family is right in the middle of Nashville and outlying areas. So, what you are about to see does directly affect me even though I was lucky enough to not be around for this particular event. This video is being circulated fervently in Middle Tennessee but we've noticed nobody else really seems to give a flying f*ck... do you?

Apologies if this is old news, here. AFAIK, it hasn't been news anywhere unless you were there or your family is.

yeah you'd think nothing has happened there

if it wasn't to the country music stations i listen to that bring it up and the relief efforts needed (many roots there, grand ole opry flooded,etc) i wouldn't have heard a peep

What do you all suppose the lack of coverage is about?
Is it the lack of looting and rioting?
Is it because no one is screaming for uncle Sam to come help?
What we have here is a tragedy and a success story. Seems like prime evening news fodder to me.

Yeah, I'm not in Nashville anymore either, but am very proud of how my hometown handled it. Congrats to Nashville for setting a good example of self-reliance. We don't need the Fed's health care, gun control, or any other BS communist control policies either!

Nashville is about 65% White.

New Orleans was 65% Black.


But of course race doesn't matter at all.....
