Oil spill threatens 'total destruction'.
Fri, 28 May 2010 17:12:02 GMT
The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico may have apocalyptic consequences, a report by the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources said.
The British Petroleum oil spill is threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with "total destruction," reports say.
An ominous report by Russia's Ministry of Natural Resources warned of the impending disaster resulting from the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico, calling it the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history, the European Union Times reported.
Russian scientists believe BP is pumping millions of gallons of Corexit 9500, a chemical dispersal agent, under the Gulf of Mexico waters to hide the full extent of the leak, now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day.
Experts say Corexit 9500 is a solvent four times more toxic than oil.
The agent, scientists believe, has a 2.61ppm toxicity level, and when mixed with the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, its molecules will be able to “phase transition.â€Â
This transition involves the change of the liquid into a gaseous state, which can be absorbed by clouds. The gas will then be released as “toxic rain†leading to “unimaginable environmental catastrophe†destroying all life forms from the “bottom of the evolutionary chart to the top,†the report said.

They love us so much they care enough to use an unlimited amount of dispersant. How generous of them.

what comes out in this interview with Matt Simmons is that BP has a very reckless culture, compared to another oil company, PetroBras, who i believe is the Brazilian oil company that is developing the new deep water field near Brazil.
i think one of the biggest mistakes they will make/ are making is to use the dispersant.
it's a big sale for the dispersant maker, and it's convenient for BP PR-wise if there are fewer pictures of dead pelicans covered in oil.
it makes me angry to hear that the damages from this are $1 Billion, which has come out in some of the articles.
it looks like this situation is en route to an unthinkable & terrible situation that is hard to visualize - a dead Gulf of Mexico.
i can't help but wonder if BP is run by Jews.
who else would take a chance of sacrificing the health of an ocean, just because they want to save a few weeks' rig time. it costs about $500K a day for a large rig, maybe more for the Deepwater Horizon because it was one of the biggest ever built.
http://www.financialsensenewshour.com/broadcast/fsn2010-0529-2.mp3
Matt Simmons, career geologist & Chairman Emeritus of Simmons Co. International, an investment bank in Houston, speaks out about the details of the disaster, including his comments about BP. some of the most well-informed commentary i've heard yet.
he doesn't use the term total destruction, but that is certainly the picture he paints.
those of us who live more than 500 miles away from the Gulf might feel like this won't affect us so much but i think it will have 2 kinds of impact for us - environmental & financial.
financially, when the true costs of the spill are reckoned, it will be a BP bankruptcy. which will leave the Bank of England and the EU in a rather futile attempt to prop up London banks like HSBC.
environmentally, i would be very, very suprised if the toxic effects of the dispersant are confined to the Gulf. that's a big TBD. it depends on things like vapor pressure and how easily the dispersant evaporates.
was BP really careless enough to use a dispersant that evaporates at standard temperature and pressure AND is toxic at 3 PPM ?
it really sounds like they are that careless. i wonder if Obama or his science guy Steven Chu are thinking about these details. Chu certainly has the ability to understand them.

it costs about $500K a day for a large rig
And an acoustic trigger, which could have prevented this blowout, only costs about $500,000.
The same money powers/bankster families which own/run/influence all the central banks (and in particular the IMF, WB, and the BIS) AND the west's MIC also own BP.

Whole towns in south Louisiana will die before the same happens in Fla.
Are you suggesting that towns in Fla. are somehow more important than towns in Cajun country?

Only if you are there. ;D
LOL... of course not. Alabama is there too. I have a brother in Mobile. These places are already in deep schytt.
But, as the poisons of this dispersant spread, my guess is that Florida will be boxed in with the deadliest air.
Watch the fishermen out working for BP. They are the canaries in the coalmine right now.

Posted this this morning in another thread- Clif High's halfpasthuman.com (http://halfpasthuman.com) has published a new web bot report dated 5/25. I don't know what to make of his web bot prognosticator project, but the few interviews I've heard with Clif are always interesting, so I just keep my eye on his bot project. The one bot report I've seen last Summer (they're titled "The Shape Of Things To Come"), I found virtually unreadable-- like, speak english, dood! But that report called for great social/economic doom, as does this report, apparently. I'm not going to pay 10 bones for this report, but for free, I'll glance over it. :D
I was just visiting the homepage of the interview in the OP, http://www.thelightgate.com, they have several new audios up, through #118, see http://www.thelightgate.com/#updates.
I see they put alot of credence in the prognostications of the web-bots, IE Cliff High's HalfPastHuman.com (http://halfpasthuman.com/). They noted that Cliff posted a new report, dated 5/25. You'd need to buy the report, but here's what thelightedgate.com says about the contents,
New Bots Report just released:
New Bots report says Oil leak most likely not going to be fixed, will finally be fixed by earthquake in 2011 after 19 months.
Mass relocations from Gulf states and east coast will begin july-August, U.S. Military will be involved. Devastation to ecosystems. Potable water contaminated. Huge storms.
Global economic chaos, greenback dies.
Riots and social disintegration of civilization 2010-2011
and much, much more.

Looks like time to get rid of a few billion people... as planned.
Not to worry - they have underground cities and the seed vault to use when the air clears up and the bodies and every other dead thing are finished decaying.
Dead people don't revolt... or even make much noise.

I have the web-bots report from the end of 2009 where they predicted "clouds of death" circling the entire world. They inferred two possible scenarios: a nuclear war where the fallout spreads, or a disease/plague spreading around the world. I can't help but think that these "death clouds" may either be clouds of oil circling the worlds' oceans, or clouds of toxic dispersant like the OP article says. This is scary, scary shit.

It's referred to as the Blue Flue oil volcano (ocean disease) subset. it will affect the entire Caribbean area plus northern coast of South America work it's way around the Florida panhandle and all the way up the east coast of North America.
I believe the smell, toxic fumes etc coming off the oil will cause hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions to be relocated with a lot of those being relocated permanently at least according to the latest report.
Of course this is in step with economic meltdown continuing along with unpredictable weather/earth changes and a march towards war which happens later this year in November.

IT’S TIME TO PRAY (http://mikeruppert.blogspot.com/2010/05/its-time-to-pray.html)
May 29, 2010, 2100 PDT –
I haven’t been able to sleep well because of the obvious chicanery, stupidity and deception being practiced by BP, the mainstream media and the United States government. I have not been able figure out how giant plumes could be originating five miles in either direction of the well that is leaking. I wrote to Matt Simmons and this reply just came in. I’m doing what Matt asked, as quickly as I can. Dinner can wait.
…“In my opinion, what most likely happened when one of the largest surges of oil as gas blew out the BOP and within seconds, began melting down one of the world’s most technically advanced deepwater rigs ever built is that just the BOP and wellhead got tossed far away from the well bore but the riser which was attached to the rig floor was separated from the wellhead/BOP.
“What all the black crap coming out to create these plumes are is the oil from the reservoir and it is staying so deep under the ocean surface that only the recent tests by NOAA research vessels finally saw these giant plumes rapidly spreading across the sea floor of the Gulf of Mexico.
“BP is in total denial that this could be real.
“It is time for the government to ask BP to step aside and bring the military into to managing this colossal failure of judgment by BP.
“Spread this news as we all need to better understand what is really happening.
“Very tragic story.
“Mattâ€Â
Let me add my thoughts. -- The obvious collusion between the USG and the mainstream media leads me to believe that the USG has known that a nuke would be the only option within a week of the explosion. About two weeks ago we posted on this blog a link to a story from (I think it was) The Telegraph saying that President Obama had dispatched a team of nuclear scientists to study the situation and evaluate the possibility of using a nuke. One was a co-inventor of the H-bomb. It was a credible story that no press outlet followed up on. Why not?
I believe that the leaks are devastating for all life in the Gulf and that large portions of the Gulf will be dead zones from seabed to surface within maybe six months. I believe that an announcement of a pending nuclear detonation will come within a week to ten days. I predict that US Continuity of Government provisions will be activated and that FEMA will, before end of summer, be placed in complete control of the Southeast United States… limited martial law.
I believe that mankind will have a very rude awakening when the nuclear announcement is made. We will be lucky if North Korea doesn’t seize the moment... or somebody else.
The U.S. government must intervene without hesitation. I completely agree with Matt Simmons. The battle now is to save all life in and around the Gulf of Mexico.
It is time to pray.

A Big Question (http://mikeruppert.blogspot.com/2010/05/big-question.html)
Can anyone help me? -- As I have watched all the stories about the Gulf, it's pretty clear that there are at least two and now likely three large plumes coming from the seabed. Simmons and others place one miles away from the well head and the new one is described as being miles in the opposite direction. What I have not seen explained is how these leaks/blowouts are mechanically connected to the Deepwater Horizon event. The rig was in a mile of water. So if the riser fell over, these other leaks should be no more than a mile away. That's how long the riser pipe was. I just can't figure that out. Anybody? How could these blowouts be miles away then and still be mechanically caused as a result of the explosion?

"AN EXTINCTION EVENT" and THE AGE OF LAWLESSNESS – WILL THE REAL FEMA PLEASE STAND UP? (http://mikeruppert.blogspot.com/2010/05/extinction-event-and-age-of-lawlessness.html)
May 25, 2010, 1900 PDT -- WE ARE ALL noticing that suddenly the mainstream media has "discovered" the size of the blowout. Matt Simmons has just estimated the flow at 120,000 bpd and said that there's a likelihood that the whole reservoir will empty... perhaps for years at an ultimately declining rate. Mainstream media is now actually saying it is a "possible extinction event" for life in the entire Gulf. Cuba is feeling it. The Gulf is doomed. But we knew all this, didn’t we? I put those pieces together a while ago... right here. What sickens me is how transparent the media manipulation is. The media's now accusing BP of misleading them, even when I showed that they have been colluding in concealing the magnitude of the flow themselves. I was all over that.
Tonight the world is at the edge. Korea, European debt, Afghanistan, the Gulf, Continued economic implosion. -- A thing worthy of note that might not have caught your attention stems from two distinctly-related stories. One was all over the news today, reporting that Barack Obama had mobilized 1,200 National Guard troops to control the Arizona border. (Half of what John McCain asked for.) And in Flint Michigan there are calls from former elected officials for the Governor to mobilize the Guard to help control an exploding murder rate.
As Orlov and many others have written, one of the things that happens when a civilization collapses is that crime rates soar, old grudges and vendettas are settled and the Empire’s ability to intervene diminishes. Arizona has a very bad situation on its hands. And even though I’m a California boy, and I don’t like racial profiling, those people are truly desperate. Much more illegal population in Arizona and there will be open street wars for control of turf. De facto guerilla armies are forming. In other words... the barbarians have entered the gates.
We are entering a very dangerous period of increasing lawlessness that will soon be seen all over the country.. I received a message today that Matt Savinar’s great blog had a discussion about National Guard troops being mobilized in many states. The writer said that many thought it was for Korea. I stopped, thought for a moment, and said to myself, “It could be the Gulf.... It could be the border too... It could be street crime in Michigan.... Shoot, it could be all three!â€Â
Now appears the vague outlines of what the rightist conspiracy theorists have called “martial lawâ€Â. Friends, this isn’t martial law. It is desperation. Because if this increasing mobilization doesn’t happen, the nation will become non-functional in very, very short order. Where I differ from the belligerently naive is that I see this period of “martial law†as a brief and ill-fated attempt to put the brakes on something that cannot be stopped. I have always felt that way. There will come a time when we might look back and think, “Those were the good old days.â€Â
WILL THE REAL FEMA PLEASE STAND UP?
Has anyone noticed that FEMA hasn’t been mentioned at all since Deepwater Horizon blew up? The uninformed think of FEMA as a clown factory. There is another FEMA and I suspect that that FEMA has been quietly mobilizing since Day One, under orders from the President, for implementation of Continuity of Government operations, followed by the possible activation of FEMA governmental control for Region 4 of its 10 operating regions. One concern I have always shared with the so-called right wing is the utterly draconian powers that are bestowed under a series of presidential Special Orders starting in the late 1970s and continuing through the present day. This is what FEMA has always been intended to do. The good things it should have done after Katrina weren’t really in its DNA, I don’t think. Bush-Cheney only made it worse.
So when we next hear the name FEMA I think a lot of folks are going to be surprised to see what it looks and acts like.
CollapseNet Notes – We are very close to a launch. One thing that has slowed us down is the virtual explosion in my popularity since my Vermont tour and the fact that we hadn’t really planned on how to make me efficient and able to deal with the demands that will follow the launch. CollapseNet has a couple of job openings posted here on the blog. -- We really need a CFO because if we don’t get set up to handle the money wisely and in the best interests of the Lifeboat Movement we might get buried... or raped. The income we expect will be the energy for our entire movement and we must husband it well.
