Thank you, amazing video.

I hope this option is considered for the Macondo blowout.

I concur; amazing video. Obviously it would be more difficult to do this at the bottom of the ocean, but here's proof of concept. Someone at BP or the national guard needs to see this video.

23 seconds to close the well

versus an entire summer (3 relief wells)

Video appears to be from the 50's or 60's..........interesting.........however, not all wells are the same and in this case something else may happen.

the geology is similar, thats what counts

they tried the same things as we are trying (top cap, etc)

even had gas coming out of the ground, from far way (like we are seeing oil leaks on the sea floor now)

the nuke option is the only quick fix

and the oil companies are offering no remediation for the oil that has been spilled

For people who want to get more details about a nuclear blast underground, go here:

http://www.nuclear-demolition.com/911-wtc-thermo-nuclear-demolition-how-it-works.html

If it is used like this, the nuclear device is not a 'weapon'. It is a tool. It's unfortunate that the US Government used such tools to demolish the WTC with people inside the buildings. And at one time, I thought the Russians were monsters. I doubt that the government will accede to this approach because in this case--to plug an out of control oil well--it's the right thing to do. Political correctness will always trump the 'right thing to do'. Our politicians will be debating it forever.
