so I was watching Bloomberg this morning, and they had on the old shell CEO (hofmeister)


and he let the cat out of the bag.

apparently the govt/Obama is putting a 6 month freeze on all offshore drilling (even the currently working wells, from the way he talked)

so he said "those rigs are expensive to operate, they are all leaving the U.S. for other parts of the world"

"in 6 months you will not have any offshore drilling in the U.S"

combine this with the alaska pipeline leaks/problems

we will have "no local oil" at all.


it makes sense, the oil companies are not going to let those behemoths just sit there idle for half a year

so he said they will all be moved to other nations.

Like I said before............keep your tank full and extra fuel cans on the side, prices will go up, up and up..........will there be shortage? still thinking about that one.

Which used to be a hell of a lot easier, before the ethanol scam. >:(
