Thats funny,... I was there "gaza strip, west bank, bethlehem, refugee camps, etc." during the second intifada, saw very much damaged palestinian buildings, roads, structures...

what I witnessed was a very productive capable people with governmental, civil, and building skills, repressed by an israeli government and army.

I never saw flourishing business in gaza, only because I was there witnessing the oppression... The Palestinians are builders, not destructive animals.
