Well there you have it, Dr. Paul has been interested in gold since it was (fixed) at $35. an ounce. His track record of what exactly constitutes real money blows all other Washington insiders out of the water. Why isn't he chairman of the Fed or Secretary of the Treasury? Are those positions best filled with 'yes' men? I don't think so.

Anyhow, regarding the first question about if this is good for the economy, people buying a record number of Gold eagles. I wish Dr. Paul would have followed up his no answer by saying, that it may prove good for longer term economic reasons and the monetary situation of this country, and the world, if people continue to become aware of the false promises of fiat currency, by investing in real money.
