it will definitely reach the Atlantic Coast - unless this BP team that has been deceptive & negligent suddenly gets lucky and caps the thing.

i believe Matt Simmons' estimate of 125,000 barrels per day. he's the chairman Emeritus of Simmons International in Houston; he's been working in the oil industry for about 50 years.

125,000 barrels per day x 30 days = 3,750,000 barrels

that's 15 Exxon Valdez' - with no end in sight.

the question is not, will it reach the Atlantic ?

the question is - will it reach the Pacific or the Indian Ocean ?

it is a terrible thing for the nations of the Caribbean, like Cuba and Jamaica. i don't see how a dirty toxic Gulf can do anything but destroy their beautiful island cultures.

those little poorer nations, are the ones that usually innovate, and thumb their nose at convention, it might be Cuba that breaks out the microbes to eat the oil, on a HUGE basis.

just because the cost is 1/10, and they cannot bilk the taxpayers like our govt does, for fraudulent solutions.
the cuban economy will not support the level of fraud we have in the U.S. so they have to find real answers
