The California Assembly yesterday passed AB-1934, that bans Open Carry that adds fines for exercising Second Amendment Constitutional rights. The controversial legislation now heads to the California Senate and to Governor Schwarzenegger for possible passage. Meanwhile, opponents of the Open Carry ban are pushing an online petition campaign to rally support against AB-1934

It won't matter when McDonald v. Chicago comes out of the SCOTUS. I have no confidence that it will be more than lip-service to the Second Amendment, while laying out the permissibility of "reasonable restrictions" on everything from buying to storing to using firearms to buying to storing to using ammunition. And it will be Federal "regulations" from the BATF...imposed on all 50 states. Before the Obamanation leaves power, semi-auto rifles, pump and semi-auto shotguns, all handguns, and a few other items, will be effectively "outlawed" via BATF regulation. We might be able to have .22LR and break-action shotguns. Obama has delayed action on the 2A since he knows the SCOTUS is going to give an even weaker "decision" this time than Heller...he'll then have feigned "authority from the courts" to decree the repeal of the 2A de facto.

Free citizens must make the decision, now, to follow their "law," or follow the Laws of God, which command you to own weapons, and grants you the right to carry and use them as necessary. "Obey the[ir] law" is something for subjects of a dictator. And as TA rightly points out repeatedly, registration always leads to confiscation which always leads to genocide.
