Andy? I dint do the link........however.......it must be something bad about milk because that's the only time that someone is happy to post anything here about it..........I am 70 years old and drink a gallon of milk every two day, very seldom water and never soft drinks.

Back in Cuba they used to bring the milk from the cow to my home, we would bring it to a boil twice and it would be ready to serve.......long live milk.

Kali? here in the states is against the law to sell raw milk.......people never boiled twice as it should be.

In Cuba that is the only way that they have their milk, even today.

Laws on rawmilk vary state to state in the us. It is legal at retail sale in pa, in wv illegal completely. Check www.realmilk.com for laws and places to get it in your state. No need for the boiling if its handled correctly either.

Its not illegal to sell raw milk here in CA.

There is only one store in this area selling it.

We won't be buying Organic Valley products anymore after this...

If you want some background on the raw milk movement go here:
Mercola had a real fine interview with Mark McAfee about raw milk.

This is really sad. If they want to up the milk output, all they have to do is give the cows sea kelp.
It raised my goat milk production 25%. On top of that it gives needed minerals. Got Pinkeye? Give sea kelp and the pink eye will be gone in 5 days. Got cribbing horses, give sea kelp and they will stop cribbing.
Better get your sea kelp before the oil volcano reaches the east coast.

What brand do you buy ????

Here is more reading on the advantages of raw milk:
(and the saftey of it!)
http://realmilk.com/rawmilkoverview.html

Ponce - By boiling it you were basically doing a home pasteurization of the milk. Not saying that is necessarily a bad thing, but you lose many of the advantages of raw milk in the process of making it "safer"

Right before we moved, I saw that they were selling raw milk at Whole Foods in L.A. Not sure the details about that though. Here in MO, I buy it from a farm by us. You can buy it directly from the farmer or have it delivered. They can't sell it in parking lots or in stores though. That's all I know about it. I buy raw as often as I can.

June is dairy month, ya know...
