Draw a triangle from point to point (on large points and on small points)...what do you see?
An evil cult indeed!

I don't know why anyone would bid that much for a hoodie, but . . . to each his own.

Actually, this exemplifies a method used for some time now by the big time media marketers.

Years ago I watched a documentary on TV about how MTV would send out paid operators into the street scenes around the country where they would search for style guru's or hip youth that had a knack for starting up local fads or movements. Some people just have a leadership thing going on for styles or movements or music.

Anyway, whenever these operators found one of these guru's or musicians or whatever, they would buy them out, co-opt the scene and commercialize it for mass consumption on TV.

So whenever a true heartfelt grassroots movement(usually involving style or music as a catalyst) would start to develop among the urban youth, MTV would gang bang it, dress it like a slut and whore it out on TV. They'd rake in the creativity credits and trivialize the movement all at the same time.

Now what I'm saying is that the mainstream marketers are busy co-opting the Internet and its users fascination in these conspiracy and occult websites. There's a lot of interest in this stuff. So they're co-opting and commercializing these things because of the potential cool factor.

But what it will do is demystify whatever occult symbolism is being used. It will trivialize it and make it as dull as a 2004 hair style.

I don't know... Just thinking out loud.
