The census guy left a note on my gate, what should I do he left a number for me to call him, should I just ignore him, call him and tell him I live in town? What would you do?

Send him a bill for cleaning up his litter.

Or, better yet, ignore it entirely.

I personally like to waste their time and make them come back. 8)

Then it's the usual, name (abbreviated) and number of people in household. (this time I think I filled in race) N/A to all other info!

They will ask neighbors, but will eventually give up.

I don't have any neighbors, and he left the note at 8;00 pm last night, what the hell is doing up here at 8 anyway!

Bastards, I guess I will make the call. I should just ignore it , the number he gave me is an hour away. I don't think he'll be driving up here all the time? I don't know.

Our census prick finally showed up when I was actually home. I had fun with it. No matter what she said all I would ever say was "2". After about 3 minutes of that she understood and left. She had gotten the one thing she had to get.

When I am here the gate is locked, you can't see the house from the rd,and you would have to walk for 10 min to get up here.

Yeah, I would call and just tell him you aren't giving him any additional information. That way he will stop coming by your house and leaving notes. I really hate that because it makes it look like no one is home.

Have him charged with attempted rape. One quick phone call is all it takes! Should get a settlement out of it too.

Call him. Be very nice and accommodating, make an appointment, then make sure you are not at home when he arrives. Make excuse... family emergency, etc.
Apologize. Make another appointment. Don't be there when he arrives. If he shows up early and happens to catch you at home, tell him you're on the way to the doctors office because your pneumonia is acting up again and you're afraid it's contagious. Apologize profusely. Make another appointment. Break it.

Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

They showed up here, drove in while I was in the garden. The only info they got was how many people lived here. The woman was polite the entire time, as was I, the whole conversation lasted about 3 minutes.
