I could care less, as long as something takes pelosi out. Was listening to her harp about BP today (found myself rooting for BP for 30 seconds) dont know what it is about that hag that just erks me. Actually I do, but so does everyong else. This kid didnt give a timeline, did he?

and on a side note, we got dumped on with snow in Feb, so I must have missed all the news on the tsunami that hit Hawaii then, they get things back to normal?

From what I remember, the tsunami was a non-event. A lot of coverage, but no tsunami.

Exactly. We watched the news for hours and finally a 3-inch wave (finally) struck the island.

California, with its huge deficit and the US with its huge debt ... talk about VULNERABLE.

when you live in earthquake country, it becomes second nature to prepare for an earthquake.

as a minor example, i have some tall shelves in my bedroom that would fall over in an earthquake. so i clamped some braces on ... just in case.

could be in 5 minutes, could be in 20 years. when it happens, i doubt California will recover as easily as in 1989. all they had to do then was re-build a few highways and apartment buildings.
