There is a building here in my city which is a lounge to the Knights of Columbus group. Are they like the Masons or are they good guys? From glancing at wikipedia I saw that they are a catholic group, but since they have degrees like in masonry, I thought there might be more to them.

I will say good guys but I am sure some might disagree. They tend to do charity work and raise money for their local church. They are not highly secrative and were founded in the 1880s.

I was a member for a while. Basically a group of old guys who are Roman Catholic. Some charity work, fish frys, poker nights. Nothing much really to the group. Basically all the ones in Ohio are dying off because none of the under 30 generation is interested. I bailed on them about 3 years ago.

I dont know much, but their local lodge hosts the monthly palm beach county coin show every month.

Not a very powerful group but higher up on the food chain than the Royal Order of Racoons.
