alright listened to it, parts of it were very good, and made sense

the one thing he really tries to impress on people

if you wait till the last minute to leave, you will in effect become a refugee

history shows that over and over again

and refugees are treated the worse in these situations (lack of food, housing, etc)

they have 40-50 million folks to evacuate, and if you get at the end of that line, plan on waiting awhile to get any food, shelter, etc

the refugee analogy is the best I have heard

anytime you get cast down to refugee, you are in a very bad/dangerous situation

paraphrasing here

if you bug out with no place to go, you're just a refugee

alpha rubicon

PLAN, PLAN NOW

the trick is " GOING " before the crowd

I did a quick search for Gerald Celente Blog and several blog sites come up. The Tends Institute site http://www.trendsresearch.com is his official site.

Although we have heard GC on Jones' show, I have yet to hear him mention Quayle.

Steve Quayle has come out with some out there material at times and has also made calls in the past about "imminent" martial law and such. He's a serious doom monger, so I always take a large grain of salt with whatever he says. That being said, I've wondered if he was on a fed payroll of some sort or is just trying to suck on that conspiracy $$$.

The information regarding refugees is certainly relevant, thanks for posting the analogy.

yes I am not really familiar with SQ

but the logic is correct

and with multiple cracks in the sea floor, the relief wells are already useless

so you need to be ahead of the crowd

he said you need a minimum of 200 miles from you and the gulf of mexico

John Kaminski Bugged out 10 days ago, left his house in Florida, and fled "for parts unknown"

said "get out now while you can still do it freely"

Ok, so, as per my SC thread, would you guys risk being a refugee or get the hell out and live to be able to fight another day?

I'd get the hell out while the gettin' is still good and the sh*t-heads in uniform are not actively looting your things on the way.

get out of dodge

you remember those pictures of people fleeing hurricanes (traffic jams, etc)

only this time they will be fleeing poison gases coming off the ocean

I've tried to find one shred of good evidence to support me staying here and have come up empty handed, meanwhile, the weight of facts say get out while the gettin's good. Some folks, online and IRL have said "chicken little", not that I really give a fvck but I am talking about walking away from it all....poof.

I think your intuition is right about him. I checked out his site and he has a map with muslim terrorist cells listed all across the country. Al Quaeda is apparently in my town. ::) So yeah, definitely works for the government I would say. :)

LT, i read jared diamond's "collapse", about societies that have imploded in the past. one story he recounts there is a group of people living near a major dam that was known to be not entirely structurally sound. logically, the people living closest to the dam should be the ones most afraid, and the fear should drop off as you get further from it. in fact, the people living closest to the dam had zero concern, and the fear:distance ratio actually worked the opposite of what you'd think. because living so close to potential doom tends to make you have to ignore the doom as a way of dealing with it. i saw this in india in regard to malaria; indians are not in the least concerned while there are mosquitoes flying around, again because it is such a clear and present danger that the easiest way to deal with it is to simply ignore it.

it takes a special kind of mindset to actually face a problem squarely. i admire you for finding the courage to do that, and hope i would do the same in your shoes. i imagine those touting the chicken little arguments will be the refugees in a month or 3.

Thanks Uranian, I'm sure you would make the same call given the same situation. It's gonna be sad I think, for the folks who don't or can't see what's going on. I know many of them here, most are good people just trying to get by in a shitty economy and seem to be oblivious to the direness of this situation.

It's hard for me to say as I would never live in Florida in the first place! If you are going to move go somewhere further afield that South Carolina. I'm where it gets 10 or 15 below zero most winters and that tends to keep a lot of the rif-raf out. As others have said, trust your intuition. If you are selling a house I would for sure cut and run.

...for the folks who don't or can't see what's going on...

won't, i would say. it is because of this unwillingness that the situation at a global level has become so bad, this conscious desire to not see what is going on. i can understand it, but that cowardice is what has allowed the NWO/PTB/whatever to progress as far as they have.

It is only when we have the courage to face things exactly as they are, without any self-deception or illusion, that a light will develop out of events by which the path to success may be recognised.

In conversation with my boss today, I mentioned the gulf oil spill and asked what he thought about it. His response was, "oh is that still going on? I would have thought they'd have stopped it by now..." - little to no concern, then he changed the subject.

Out of sight, out of mind... that's the reason for media blackouts and pop-culture distractions:

THEY WORK.

not sure what to make of steve quayle,

I used to listen to Quayle a lot a few years ago. After the second time that he claimed that nukes from Russia were inbound and that it was time to go underground, I stopped listening.

The first time he said Russia had set off nukes heading in and he had seen our rockets launching from Great Falls MT, and that we had been successful in shooting them down. He is in Bozeman, just down the road from me.

The second time was a Friday broadcast, he said Russia was gonna launch again and that this was probably his last broadcast. He was going underground and didn't expect that we would survive thru the weekend.

I don't think he is working for the feds, I think he fully believes everything he says. I think he is freakin looney toons, And I think his high ranking and highly placed sources are really people that are playing mind games with him just for their entertainment.

There are a group of people that target the ethiopian email scammers just to get them to go to strange places and do strange things in order to collect their scam money. I read an account of one scammer that was sent to 3 different countries and was messed with for about 6 months. I think something similar is happening to Quayle, maybe from that Anonymous internet group that took on Scientology.

The militia radio program I listen to, says Quayle has been putting out bad info since the 90's.

I guess watch for more resident casualties

watch for the relief wells

etc

Steve Quayle got into a bunch of religious mumbo jumbo, and if someone is saying "god told me this", how can you prove them wrong?

so why argue

but I do think that the situation is very serious

they have done almost nothing to contain it

and Jim McCanney (who I do trust) is saying "people are going to start dropping dead soon unless they get this thing contained, and the oil will get into the rains"

so maybe its the old "even a stopped clock is right twice a day" with Steve Quayle

it certainly appears that they are not serious about containing this thing
they are using the most toxic dispersants
the insider selling before the blowout
etc

the level of toxicity is going to increase, and people are going to get sicker and sicker

Bullfrog

I'm not arguing, I am relaying my experiences with Steve Quayle. You have to make up your own mind after that. BTW, the broadcaster on my militia radio program are very religious as well, no one is attacking Quayle for his faith.

What is happening in the gulf is a huge deal, and may be the death blow for our economy. It certainly is a TSHTF moment for a lot of people living down there.

Hey LibertyTree, I am thinking about walking away from everything too.

If I do, you're welcome to come in my crazy RV tour of the USA, because that's what I will be doing. If you don't mind a whole bunch of chihuahuas and being stuck with me inside a steel death trap, come along! Sounds kinda scary and kinda fun, doesn't it?

And as long as I can continue to pay my mortgage, I will have a home to come back to if TS doesn't HTF.

John Kaminski bolted over a week ago, left his home on the panhandle of florida

everyone thought he had flipped his wig

I think a month from now old John will be shown to be a genius

I saw a news item today, every hurricane will delay the relief wells by a minimum of 2 weeks (not including damage)

and one oil guy said "look for christmas, not august for those relief wells."

Kali
14th June 2010, 03:33 PM
So where to run to?

People were saying to GTF out of dodge before the oil spill...now its all about GTF out of that whole area.

It gets old listening to everyone saying GTFO of here and not telling anyone where to go.

Is there a better place than the place we know everything about and where we have family and friends?

Where is that place? Don't just say GO, tell me where to GO (Don't say Hell either >:( ).

Not everyone can go to Montana...and Montana ain't all that anyways. Last time I was there I had to fight off a bunch of drunk indians.

Large Sarge
14th June 2010, 03:35 PM
basically what steve quayle is saying, if you leave now, you have control of where you go, if you wait, the govt and some relief agency will figure out where to put you

thats what John Kaminski said in his last update on his site "leave now while you can do so freely"

as far as where to go, 200 miles from the gulf of mexico

if it gets in the rains, you will need to be further

I think a travel trailer is a great idea, lets you keep your own vehicle, and tow your home

air stream is a good brand/name (not affiliated)

the economy the way it is, the prices are way down

probably work out a payment plan, so you can save some cash

I said this in another thread already, but my mind is screaming "Tectonic plate shifts".

We don't know how big this reservoir is, but we do know that it's under pressure. If this oil is dispersed throughout the ocean, who knows what can happen?

I don't know. To me, it's like visualizing a brick sitting on top of a water ballon, and then BP comes along with a pin....

I hope I'm wrong.
