Construction on the tenth circle of hell is being delayed by BP oil disaster.

The retrofitting of a new tenth circle of rapidly growing hell has been put on indefinite delay since the imbeciles at BP compromised the ocean floor causing high-pressure gasses to leak from hells infernos. These inferno fires are used for every energy source and power in hell, including construction devices. A sudden drop in pressure, roughly 40,000psi has disrupted construction on the much-needed tenth circle.

"A nightmarishly large glut of condemned spirits in recent years necessitated the expansion of Hell," inferno spokesdemon Antedeus said. "The traditional nine-tiered system had grown insufficient to accommodate the exponentially rising numbers of Hellbound."

Ironically, the oil executives the circle will be housing are the very ones who damaged the area far beneath the sea floor. Agents for the prince of the power of the air indicate that the well casing has touched and opened up communications in the strata and between the rock formations below the sea floor exploding hells gate open by sudden pressure drop.

All manner of poisonous gasses used to maintain order in hell are reaching the surface. These compounds can cause considerable damage to the living inhabitants on the face of the earth. Mixed with the gasses are the lamentations of the damned, once confined, now bubbling to the surface of the open seas. Hell's agents have been very busy keeping track of the dead now that the vent has been pierced. “What is most aggravating is that the number of potential souls being made ready for hell, who may die an untimely death, might have to wait in extreme state of limbo until we finish the tenth circle” a hell's spokesdemon said.

He stomped away quite angrily stating that the age old saying “There will be hell to pay” is not even close to what may soon transpire for both the living and the dead.

Very creative, ximmy. Well, that explains everything. The oil volcano consists of spirits trying to escape hell! That's why the substance is red, not completely black too. It's hot spirits from hell.

It's a great big sh!t sandwich and we all... corporal & spirit (the living and the dead) [in the heavens and the hells] are all going to have to take a bite.
