if I am reading this right, then it looks like texas will be getting the fumes for awhile

From the looks of NOAAs satalite images it's all going into Mexico.

I wonder if this will push the oil spill into the largely untouched western gulf.?
And we need to watch for "smell of crayons" from houston, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, and into mexico itself.

this news out of tampa, has active radar of the gulf, and a nice "oil slick" overlay
today you can see thunderstorms moving over the oil, and heading west, into new orleans
