Something cool about facebook

I know alot of you don't like facebook...and i don't blame you. To each his own
I don't care what you think of me for being on there either.

Im on there to keep in touch with family across the country. and i like it.

Recently I have been contacted by old High school friends and think thats pretty cool.
A lot of them went to our 30 year reunion (I did not go) and are now Facebook friends.
and as they are contacting me, they bring back good memories

Anyway. Becuase of all this. I just found out that a childhood friend of mine that lived across the street from me for 15 years (we learned to surf together and did many other fun things) is a Conservative Republican State Senator for AZ.!.

I think it is Pretty cool. And I am very proud of him and share a lot of him values and political veiws too. :)

However, I just want to point out that I realize that it is through Facebook that you discovered this information about an old friend, but it could have been discovered another way. So in my opinion, it's not Facebook that is cool, it's the information. :P

That's cool, Stackerken. It's cool to find out what long lost friends are up to. I recently got back in touch with a friend via facebook. I went to school with her and knew her since kindergarten and we were best friends in high school but I moved away and we lost touch for 15 years or so so it's nice to be back in contact. I don't particularly love FB and understand the concerns with it but it is a nice way to stay in touch with people. I hardly ever post there though.
