That's nice and all, but we all know that often the majority is wrong and is full of morons even if they're right in this case.

You're handing more power to the police state.

The Citizens should be armed, and they should have the right to question suspected illegals.

With the drug cartel war spilling over into the border states, kidnapping becoming rampant and illegals gaming the system, obviously something needs to be done.

I think this poll reflects the fact that Americans are sick of the Government apathy towards illegals.

Do we really want to go down the "show me your papers" path?

Their hearts are in the right place but I disagree with this law. It's only a stones throw away from asking me to show my papers.

I do however support the defense of their boarder with Mexico using the National Guard.

I don't think it's a stone's throw at all. Having said that I have to show my papers to buy some smokes, buy a beer, pick up a basketball ticket at will call, buy a house, rent a car and the list goes on and on.
