Gets some laughs too, notice they say, "White House talking points",
not a press release or statement. Specifically designed to challenge
questions from Giuliani, and why is that guy even allowed on tv now.

The Fourth Estate does not exist, more proof.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Estate

The concept of the fourth estate is in essence the press as a
watchdog on other powerful institutions or "estates".

The fourth estate is charged with keeping an honest watch on activities of the other states and itself. These duties would help democratic societies function properly, openly, and honestly. Debate still flourishes as to whether or not this ever operated (or operates) as it was intended.

It seems the media has been bought and paid for for some time. You either take the money and say what they want you to say or never work in "professional" journalism again.

I hope that thing with Iceland goes through and is a big hit. We need a new generation of muckrakers.

After they neuter the net then the truth will be truly dead.

After they neuter the net

it is no wonder china is running their own root servers, and russia recently requested that they will run some (and they will regardless of the response).

It could be interesting to have to log into separate "internets" to see how they look - if this is what the world is coming to. Hopefully, there will be rouge "internet" too. :)

I can only hope that people will start going back to having face to face meetings with like minded individuals, but they'll probably have to face a network of snitches by then.
