* 24 bunks to a trailer
* People not getting paid

You can check in but you WONT check out..........I can only hope that the bunk trailers have a positive air filtration system........no alcohol, but how about hookers?, unless they have women workers willing to make a few extra sucks upssssssssssss I meant to say.......extra bucks.

Jesus Ponce this is a family website 8)

i don't have a problem with company housing, per se.

what matters is the details.

i think the main terrible thing the Gulf Oil workers have to do deal with is breathing toxic life-shortening brain-frying carcinogenic fumes as a standard part of the job description.

Mr Gun? please use my complete name.......Jesus H Ponce .......hahahahahahah, by the way, that's why I mentioned the air flow in the trailers for when they are sleeping..............outside the air flows but inside the air is trapped.

Good point regarding the air in those barracks Ponce. Folks have to be crazy, desperate or both to be working down there.

New Federally created jobs like the WPA, CCC, etc.

Except now it's great masses of un-employed cleaning up oil spills.

This must be OBoingo's FDR moment.

Honest and desperate people will do whatever to put food on the table

I bet every worker had to sign a liabilty release before being allowed to work.
