Saw a surprising thing happen in traffic court today.

Usual driving on suspended license offenders threatened with jail, etc.

Then there is a guy that never had a license. Charged with improper registration, driving without license, and speeding. 3 tickets total

Judge kept trying to get the guy to understand that he has no license, only a learner permit from another state. Guy acknowledged the judge but failed to state that he would get a license, kept claiming that he had one. Apparently it was an expired learners permit.

Bottom line, judge just max money fined for violations. Guy walked out to the clerks office. Guarantee he went and drove away from the courthouse.

By the way, my ticket was dismissed. Finally got off on one without havin to appeal and request a jury trial.

Courts dont want people who dont care.

It will get very expensive to house, feed and process somebody through the system that has no intention (or abilty) to pay.

Traffic court is for the middle class ....... those that are caught bewteen a rock and a hard place those that will find the money just to get the hell out of there.
